Came in for a drink while exploring the town and both the drinks and service was exceptional, super friendly staff who know their product well 10/10 experience
Had a really lovely lunch here today with good friends. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was excellent, very friendly staff. I especially enjoyed the lemon drizzle sponge pudding! Delicious! Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!
What an absolutely fabulous pub! 400 years old. Been in the same family for 60 years. Learnt all of that and more from the owner. You just have to ask questions about everything in there. It is an absolute feast for the eyes. The food is homemade and yummy. The service is warm and friendly. Would definitely visit again if we were ever in the area. What a relief to find our way here after being out and about in the area and finding many other establishments in Usk not serving dinner on Bank Holiday Sunday - a friendly and helpful welcome with good food at reasonable prices. I had rabbit pie for £16 ‐ a good portion size with choice of potatoes, and veg or salad. 2 of my companions with smaller appetites had starters only (smoked salmon, and the goats cheese - plus a share of other's mains) and were pleased with both taste and amount of food. Great lunch today at The Nags Head. Great pub with very warm welcome and friendly, efficient service. Four of us enjoyed a lovely lunch and a great pre-Christmas catch up. The landlord was great and certainly helped to ensure we had a great experience.
Visited the Nags head on Friday 20 February and had one of the nicest meals out in a very long time . We and the dog were made to feel very welcome and the food was absolutely first class . Cannot recommend the Nags head enough a hidden gem !
We've eaten a few times at the Nag's Head and it's a great find. Consistently a lovely welcome (even the manner on the phone is great) and exceptional food. (Rabbit pie, faggots...in fact everything we've tried is great). Well-kept pint of Rev as well.
We had a fantastic lunch at the Nags Head. The staff at this family run pub were incredibly friendly and helpful and our food was delicious. The hardest part was choosing what we wanted when everything sounded so good. Highly recommend.
